Repainted Warbird Ready!

It’s taken 5 months, 20 litres of paint stripper and boxes of Scotch Brite but finally the Warbird is out of the paint shop!

A mammoth task that included removing wings, tail, vertical fin and all the canopies. This increased the workload considerably but makes the difference when it comes to the quality of the paint job. With most components painted individually there is no underlap when parts move in flight and with maintenance. It also improves corrosion resistance and is a professional looking finished product.

Our sincere thank you to Onshore Engineering and all the subbies for all the hard work. Merry Christmas!
